New stained glass window : The Creation
This abstract design represents the creation of the world described in the bible.
Taken from the book of Genesis
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day
And the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Andrew speaks about the window . . "I can remember the design process for this window very distinctly. I was visiting the church to talk with the Vicar and had discussed the making of a new stained glass window to go above the main entrance of the church. We had only just finished the instalation of a new baptistry window and the church were delighted with it so they commissioned the entrance window as well. After I had spoken to the Vicar I was walking back to my van which was parked at the back of the church when the image of the stained glass window design came into my head. As soon as I sat in the van I sketched out what I had seen in my head and the design was fisihed in a moment. I realy believe that this window came as a gift from God."
